2022 Summer Book Bingo – for adults!
Are your adult patrons feeling nostalgic for the days when they participated in summer reading programs? Here’s a way to give them a version made just for grown ups: Adult Summer Reading Book Bingo 2022! Below are Book Bingo cards — in English and Spanish — for your library, patrons, and community. (The images at the bottom of this post link to downloadable/rewritable PDFs that you can print or share online.)
We’ve seen some libraries in Washington do a drawing for prizes at the end of the summer; we’ve also heard from readers who are excited to bring back some of the fun of summer reading programs they enjoyed as kids – and that in itself is a prize.
This year’s beautiful artwork was created by Jorge Villavicencio.
These cards were adapted from The Seattle Public Library’s and Seattle Arts & Lectures bingo program, and this is the sixth year we’ve been able to provide a card for readers across Washington. Seattle Public Library has several online resources to assist staff who are helping patrons find the right books for them for various squares. Note that the Washington state card varies slightly from the original card categories, but you’ll still find many great suggestions here:
